Firefly / Serenity

Joss Whedon's film "Serenity" may not have been a successful film at the box office but, it was successful in that it opened my eyes to the world of Joss Whedon. I really had no clue what "Serenity" was about or that it was based on the cancelled television show "Firefly." As I was watching the character of River Tam basically kick everybody's ass in the final scenes I started to realize that this movie was one of my all time favorite films.



I instantly purchased the FireFly Box Set and discovered one of my favorite shows of all time. I loved everything about it. It felt like Han Solo in space with a great cast aboard his Millenium Falcon. Most of all I loved the writing of Joss Whedon.
