What a 'con!
New York Comic Con was some of the best times I've had in the big city. The sheer amount of enthusiasm for everything being shown and sold totally floored me. Every single person in attendence (whether it was the con itself or the shows/parties at night) were there to have a good time and because they literally loved what they were there to check out. The vibe was awesome! But enough of the love fest, here are the top stories of the weekend.
- ESC Toys knew the score with their new Old Skool Kaiju line. These looked great.
- Kaiju Invades NYC rocked the Showroom's doors off.
- Marvel and DC are getting ready to go head to head with their summer cross overs.
- Big Shot Toy Work's Bertie had everyone talking... seriously. Everyone.
- MAD's show reminded everyone why they love the MAD*Ls.
- Shawnimals' Plush Form breaks out with the first DIY plush!
- Toys like Tobor and Exellis prove that where there is a will, there is a way. Rock on, guys!
- Cosplay characters take their craft seriously. I took a dude's pic, said "Nice costume!" and he replied, "It's not a costume." Nice.

The show was twice as big as last year's and judging by the crowd, I'd say it's safe to say next year will be bigger. At least we hope the Designer Toy aisle is. Wow, that was crowded!
None of our coverage could have been possible without our gracious sponsors.

Nice museum for toys! Everyone who loves playing with toys especially those which were inspired by comics or cartoon characters should attend this kind of this event. For sure they will enjoy taking a look of toys being displayed here.
